Thrifty, Healthy Yogurt, Berry, Cereal Bowl Recipe
The Healthy Yogurt, Berry, Cereal Bowl Recipe is a great way to start your day. This healthy, hearty bowl can be eaten as a meal or satisfying snack. Either way, you will love this scrumptious bowl for a meal, snack, or dessert.
Ruby’s Pantry
In the area where I live, we have a food service called Ruby’s Pantry. You can read more about it here. If you receive Ruby’s Pantry shares, there is oftentimes cereal included in the share. I like to be creative with cereal rather than just eat it with milk. Recently, there were also frozen strawberries that would work great for this recipe.
This healthy Yogurt, Berry, Cereal Bowl Recipe is one of my go-to energizing breakfasts on the farm. You can also make this with oats if you don’t have any cereal on hand. Here is the recipe for YOGURT, OATS, AND BERRY BOWL RECIPE.

Ingredients for Yogurt Berry Cereal Bowl
Yogurt
You can use store-bought yogurt. I prefer plain, unsweetened, so I can add my own sweetener. However, you can use any flavor. We have a jersey cow who gives us fresh milk every day. We have an abundance of milk. As part of my milk routine, I make yogurt in my Instant Pot twice a week. Our cow produces more milk than we can drink, so I have developed some creative ways to use our milk, including making yogurt is so simple in the Instant Pot.

Berries
Strawberries are packed with Vitamin C and other antioxidants. During the summer, we grow strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries in our garden. However, our berry production cannot keep up with my 5 children.
I am so thankful for the 20 lbs of frozen berries in the December Ruby’s Pantry Share. Thawed out in the fridge the night before, they work perfectly for this recipe. You can use substitute any raspberries or blueberries you prefer. You can also use a combination of berries.
Cereal
As I said earlier, you often receive cereal in Ruby’s Pantry share. This is a creative way to use cereal besides eating it with milk. Any cereal will work for this recipe, but I prefer a non-sweetened whole grain cereal.
Sweetener
You can use any sweetener of your choice. I prefer to use this Trim Healthy Mama Stevia because I like to keep my sugar consumption at a minimum. When you use stevia, you only need a tiny amount. You can also use other sugar alternatives such as swerve, monk fruit powder. If you prefer sugar or honey, those sweeteners work as well. You will just have to add and adjust the amount of each sweetener based on its concentration and your taste.
VANILLA
The vanilla extract rounds out the flavor of the shake. However, if you don’t have vanilla or don’t care for vanilla, you can leave it out. The bowl is still delicious without it.
